SummerCamp 08 - Lifetime experience!

I was awake, still i closed my eyes.

Reached my hand to get my specs from the shelf. 

*Bang*

Wth, hit the wall.

Opened my eyes, i saw the ceiling instead of a fluoroscent tube with a thread on the side.

turned around, my comps, rather than the shelfs, desk, and a plastic chair.

Then i remembered, I'm back at my own country again.

Back from summercamp.

My thoughts were wandering there.

I closed my eyes, and just wanted to stay in the memories for a while.

sheesh, capital letters doesn't mean im happy.

Tell me the flight delayed and i have to stay there for another week THEN I'll be happy.

It's just a week and im sooo bonded with the camp, 

well, actually its not the camp,

but rather the friends i met there.

dang. writing this makes me wana cry. lol.

Anyway, im not gona upload the photos on summercamp anytime soon, cz my card reader aint working.

Okay, so we reached sheare's hall at arnd 4 on sunday. I was in group 3, we practically did nothing that day. xD 

Anyway, group 3 consists of:

Thailand : Pock     ,     Morgan

Singapore:   Lynn, Xue Wei, Nichol, Lilin, Yu Lin, Yating, Shan Yi, Yu xiang, Daniel

Hong Kong: Evelyn

Taiwan: Kevin ( gender unknowned) jkjk! xD 

China : Lee Dan 

Malaysia: Me and Daryl

Anyway....wait, before i start abt the camp........

And i heard loads of ppl saying me and daryl cold hearted cz we didnt cry.

Actually we did, just not in front of u guys. hahaha.

Day 1, Monday

Anyway, the first day we went to nan hua for the opening ceremony. There was this drummer 

band who performed. walao. damn geng. 

Anyway, after that, at night, we went to sentosa, watched songs of the sea. It was really nice, but it's my second time, so i didnt like WOW or something.

The day practically ended like that, i dont think any member of the group was high that afternoon. xD But just before watching songs of the sea, we started to learn how to say shit, and I love u in Thai. xD hahaha, all suggested by YATING! xD 

anyway, I love u guy version is Pom Rak Kun.

Girl version is Sha Lak Kun.

Shit is Ki.

Day 2 Tuesday

We had an amazing race, without 300,000 usd.

I dont even know which group won, or was there a winner?

Well, we went to little india first.

It was, well, kinda dull, because everyone was still half awake. xD

Then a comedy started.

So we went to a....well, somewhere like an indian market place.

Then suddenly an indian guy appeared and half pulled half inviting daryl and kevin to his stall. I was lucky he had only 2 hands. xD

And he showed them a few necklaces, hahaha, with fake ivory on it. xD

He saw daryl wearing another necklace, ( which was really nice),

and said, how much u bought for that?

Daryl said : 10...

He didnt get an opportunity to continue, the indian said:

See! so expensive, i only sell 3 singapore dollars! 

Cmn, buy it!

Actually daryl was trying to say 10 thailand baht. which means 50 singapore cents.

They talked for like 3 minutes. 

In the end, they came back empty handed. xD 

I smirked at him xDDD

Anyway, later we went to kampong glam, had lunch there.

Later we went to china town.

Then botanic gardens.

And yeah i didn't spell it wrong my malaysian friends, they call it botanic gardens, not botanical.

Anyway, we finished the race there quickly.

Then we went to the best place of the day.

Orchad road!

Well, actually on day zero me and my malaysian friends went there d, so we were'nt really excited or something.

So we went to takashimaya, i think. xD 

The first shop i saw.

COACH, GA,BALLY,VERSACE,CHANNEL,MONTE BLANC.

So i think you got the answer we didnt spent much money there.

Well, later on we went to kinokuniya, and bought some books. 

Later on, we went back to sheares hall.

Day 3 Wednesday.

We went for a heartland tour.

First we went to the HDB flats show room.

It was, well, really nicely designed. Then my friend whispered to me, real HDB flats are normally not this nice. xD 

Lol. I kept quiet. ^^

In the afternoon we went for DRAGON BOATING! 

Row row row ur boat, gentl.....

sorry, got carried away. 

Anyway, dragon boating was okay, splashing people was the main course! xD 

We had to containers, so we splashed and splashed and splashed! it was fun, except for on container of water landing on daryl instead of the enemy group. xD Sorry daryl! xD 

We had a dragon boat race a later, some guy in front shouted the timing, 1! 2! 1! 2! 1!2!

We were behind 3 boats.

Then a guy shouted from behind. ARTHUR ! KWOK! ARTHUR! KWOK! ARTHUR! KWOK!

and guess what, we won.

all thanks to Mr. Arthur Kwok. lmao.

*bows*

Then at night we went to lau pa sat. And the singaporeans practically chocked us with food. xD

There were like more than 10 dishes on the table.

And daryl acted sorrow or something, didnt want to eat, until xue wei had to FORCE him to eat. xD 

So she got him a carrot cake or something, and in the end daryl gave it to yu xiang. xD 

Then after everyone was full. 

Everyone became cam whores. kept taking pictures.

And Daryl invented a stupid way to take ridiculous expressions of people. 

He auto focused first, then suddenly captured people's face.

lol. crazy dude.

That day, our bonds became a lil more closer.

Day 4 Thursday

We went to Nan Hua for an assembly.

And we presented a modern dance for the lower and upper form nan hua students. 

Here, i would like to credit coach YOGI who helped us out alot, by guiding us, and showing us dance moves. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH coach YOGI! You ROCK!

Me, Daryl, Sean, Gavin, and Andrew practised for 4 nights and we succeeded. 4 nights only!

hahahaha, anyway, i think the audience liked our performance, cz they clapped the most. And most of them got high during the 

Shhh....Ahhh.....Shhhh.....Ahhhh Part. xD 

And that day i met alot of my last year summercamp's friend! Yuan yuan, Kheng Leng, Xin yu and others! Was sooo happy! 

After the assembly, we went for a mass dance practised session, learned nothing but banging the wall while turning. xD

The Highlight of the Day!

CAMPFIRE!!! 

then it rained.

well, there wasn't any problem at all, we just went to the hall for camp fire, cz it was an electronic bon fire. xD 

Anyway, nothing interesting started at first, then MASS DANCE!

i danced with xue wei for the first round, then with yu xiang! hahahaha, he's a guy btw. xD 

Daryl was dancing with kevin wildly.

And when it was turning part, i just spinned yu xiang like crazy. in the end, he fell on the floor cz he was tooooo dizzy. xD 

After that. FREE DANCE WOOT ! 

Everyone was dancing like crazy, especially William from Taiwan, and WONG TAT SENG from Malaysia!

William, was actually dancing, while wong tat seng was...well, kinda like, shaking. xD

We danced like mad, and then after like half an hour or so, we had to go back...

Sad.

That night, coach Shaun allowed us to stay up until 2 am, well, no one cared, most of our group members slept at arnd 3. lol.

I mean, that didnt affect me, i sleep at 2 nearly everyday. 

Group 2 sat together in a circle at the lobby, and chatted while playing games. lol, that didn't last for more than 2 minutes.

Group 2  then was parted into 2 groups, 3A and 3B lmao. Me, Daryl, xue wei, nichol, evelyn, pock, morgan, yu xiang was in A.

Playing cards at first, then xue wei asked 3B to join A to play games, they didn't move a single step.

So xue wei asked and asked and asked. In the end, she got pissed and shouted. lol.

Hahaha, that night was really fun.

Day 5 Friday Last day.

We gathered at 7, supposed to have a walk, but then something happened and we couldn't. So we went to nan hua straight after breakfast. We attended the closing ceremony.

They made us line up surrounding the hall, then each person shake another person's hand.

Loads of people were crying.

We exchanged gifts there too.

Me and daryl we, well, held it in. though i saw his eye red, and i know mine was too.

And the closing ceremony started, they showed a photo montage of the summercamp.

It was really nice.

Then in the middle of the ceremony, the Thais had to leave, everyone stood and clapped their hands.

Then a harp performance, then we, the malaysians had to leave. We didn't have the chance to finish the ceremony. Sad.

When we were taking our luggage, we shouted the Three Cheers for Summercamp, I hope the campers heard it, cz we shouted as loudly as we could. ^^

We were escorted by 2 coaches to the taxi. Just before I went in the taxi, i took a last glance at nan hua, and the coaches, I knew the tears were coming, so i quickly went in the car.

We left.

Just after we went out of the gate, my tears came pouring down, that made gav and sean cried too.

The driver was kinda freaked out. Lol.

Well last saturday, I went to KL to attend my cousin's convocation......

Okay okay, lame excuse, i went to to enjoy.

When i told my friends I was going there to attend it, they replied with a :

Nahhh....going there to play say la....

sheesh, u guys actually think that KL has places to play? 

Naive.

Anyway, it was a really short trip, just 2 days.

On the way to the hotel, we went pass a train terminal or something, it was kinda beautiful there so i snapped a few pics. 

on the way we saw the post office hq i think, and just look at the red little boxes. xD

Finally we reached THE Hotel. Hotel Mandarin Pacific.

After awhile we went to petaling street.

So later we had a walk and took the LRT to sungei wang.

LRT- The wait.

Sungei Wang, there was a summer boy and girl competition. Sadly when i was there, it ended already.

 

We took a taxi back to the hotel rather than the lrt cz it was drizzling. We were just too lucky to actually grab a taxi who actually runs on meter ! 

And this taxi driver is even more talkative than me, with that, i guess u can imagine the rate. xD 

Anyway, he says he has 2 wives and 10 kids. 

Wow.

And he runs on meter.

15 minutes ride:rm 5

dude, i pity ur children. xD

Later at night, My aunt treated us all to a japanese restaurant. She booked it like a week in advance and it's prepared speacially for us, none of the meals served were in the menu. 

After 45 minutes, well, actually it'd only took 20 minutes but my aunt forgot how to go there, so we used 25 minutes extra. xD

The Heart's Cry

The wolves were howling,

At the moon that was shining.

Shining but with an eerie feeling,

Was anyone looking?

Complicated feelings,

All too confusing,

The sky darkening, 

The wolves now whistling.

It's tempting,

seducing, 

nonetheless terrifying, 

Maybe I should stop thinking.

Sounds whistling,

Vision blurring,

Thoughts clogging,

I wish i never had this feeling.

After awakening, 

everything was saddening, 

the heart's crying, 

the wolves whining,

Today, i suddenly thought of my 2 really good friends, Gavin and Sean said, and their thoughts. Hahaha, well, they're the type that goes and talks to any girl they're actually interested in, and thanks to their looks and personality, they normally succeed in making friends with em. xD 

Anyway, there was one day when we were just chatting casually, then we started to talk about girls, well, actually, i dont really talk about girls alot with my friends, lately. 

Then, that day, i told them i saw this really pretty girl in CRC then they just said: why don't you go get her number? 

I was like, stunned there.

I mean, does everyone just go get girls number whenever they want? or normally do they become friend's first. 

Now I'm starting to think that im kinda weird comparing to others . lol.

Anyway, they misunderstood me, I said she was pretty, I didn't say i was interested. LOL.

Anyway, 

Does everyone think that secondary teen's so called 'love' can actually last?

Pet(s) - Burdened

A couple of days ago, I just woke up from my nap. 

Walked out from my house for fresh air. 

Turned right. 

AH! 

WHY IS THERE A FRIGGIN FAT RABBIT ON MY BALCONY! 

calm down.

sheesh.

So i eyed my dad.

Like it? he said.

No.

Well, actually, he said a relative of his, i mean, ours,

wanted to get rid of this rabbit. 

So he said he couldn't bear to watch it living on the streets with the risk of being eaten,

So he took it home.

What a nice way to gain a pet.

I don't hate rabbits, 

but i certainly wouldn't want to have an OLD rabbit.

It's 5 years old! 

How long do you expect it to live! 

So now we're to take care of it until it dies? 

No thanks.

So he said, if u dont like it, i can kill it and let's have a rabbit bak kut teh.

He struck my weak point.

So much for 'cant bear to see the rabbit on the street' theory.

Me and my sister really loved it.

It was a mini pincher, a black-brown, little dog.

It runs around the house every single second, sometimes i wonder where he gets the energy from....

Anyway, it was a really nice dog, 

i used to let him bite my finger, 

felt good. xD 

Then we had to move to another house, and so my dad gave it to his friend.

Me and my sister ignored him for 2 days. 

lol.

Hahaha. 

writing this brings back memories.

I wonder if it's still okay.

Cracks. Trying to mend.

Do you believe that friendship never last forever?

A few months ago, me and 2 of my best friends wrote a letter to our form teacher. 

We requested to sit together. 

Some people would think this is childish. 

Requesting to sit together.

But to us, it was tightening the bond between us. 

As real good friends. 

The teacher replied to our request. 

With another letter.

I remember clearly, she wrote a sentence.

It was something like this:

'I am really touched by the friendship of you guys. I believed in friends forever, but mine didn't work. Still, I'm happy to see you guys are such good friends. You may change your seats.'

Friends forever.

So do you believe in that?

I do.

To me, there are friends that last forever.

And there are those that don't. 

 

But i really hope that every single one of my friendship last forever. 

Who doesn't? 

So every sentence i say, to my friends never mean any harm. 

I don't betray my friends. 

Never. 

But sometimes i like to joke.

No.

I like to joke all the time.

Because i like to laugh and listen to people laugh.

But sometimes, my jokes tend to be too much,

to some people. 

I don't mean any offence.

 

There are absolutely no problem in these people. 

They are perfectly normal.

The problem is me.

Well, sometimes i just can't control it. 

I have friends that understand me.

They know i joke alot, and they know I don't mean any offence,

that's why they're ok with me. 

I feel really relaxed with them, because i can say anything I want.

That's why we laugh alot.

Then there are people who cant take it.

I would like to say sorry if i said something too much to anyone.

It was never your problem. 

Even my sister cant stand me.

Lately, I got over the border.

Someone got pissed about what I said. 

Well, until now i don't really know what I said. 

Cause i forget about it straight away. 

Whatever i said, i didn't mean it.

And btw, i never intended to reveal anything.

Really.

Never.

Maybe i told S32N too much.

But I thought you was ok with that. 

Cause i mean, the four of us were close.

Well, sorry if i said too much.

And when i rage. Its only for that instant. Never more than a day. xD
